SBR includes four tests that focus on key abilities for the modern business environment – numerical, text checking and verbal reasoning. These ability tests are provided to the user in electronic format for administration on computer. The tests are designed for use with graduates or those of equivalent level in education, namely middle to senior managers and those in professional occupations. It has been placed in a business context, both to make the tests credible and meaningful to those who take them and to add content validity by sampling the kinds of materials and business contexts in which reasoning is demanded. Because the tests are new to the HR arena, employers can be confident that users have not completed the tests elsewhere. Decision on hiring is at the discretion of the company who can then set an eligibility norm based on studies conducted within its organisation.
Our human resource consulting capability include the analysis and development of competency frameworks required at individual job level, department and organization levels and the design and delivery of both team and individual development programmes. We analyse individual competency requirements by studying job demands, and by reference to the ‘top down’ cascade of performance measures.
